The American Revolution

Revolution happened in 1766. Before, there was a triangular trade: England, America, and Africa. They traded indigo, tabacco, cotton and slaves. Slaves were captured and brought into boat. They never learned to read or write, their children were sold.


The most important wars were: The French and Indian war in Europe was called "The 7 year war" and French and Indians allied against British, in this war George Washington fought.

French destroyed the forts on lake Ontario.


The war in 1758-759 the English stop french ships from getting to America, Indians leaved the french and the war turns around letting the British winning.

Once the war was over a treaty was signed it was 'The Treaty of Paris' in 1763.
Wars went on in other places, but the treaty ended the war in favor for the British.

They kept Canada, great lakes, Ohio River Valley and Florida, Mississippi river was their boundary.

They had a Triangular Trade, between England, America and Africa and their biggest trade were slaves, sugar, tobacco and cotton.
